Programme Manager - 23 Month FTC

Location: London, Glasgow, Lytham or Durham - Hybrid working

Salary: £57,000- £63,000 depending on location and experience

Closing Date: 1st OctoberOur financial client focuses on saving and long-term investment are currently looking for a Programme Manager to join on a Fixed Term Basis to work on their transformation project that is the largest ever project yet. They are looking to bring on various different agencies to support business success and growth.

Main duties of the role:

• You will be responsible for providing effective and transparent management and control of the programmes, schedule, dependencies, risks and issues
• Monitoring overall progress, resolving issues and initiating corrective action where required
• Budget management
• Securing appropriate skilled project management resources needed to deliver the project
• Leading, motivating, mentoring and managing the performance of the project delivery team
• Ensuring delivery meets programme requirements in line with the future operating models and dossier
• Ensuring the project will deliver within the company priorities and strategic goals
• Charing and leading governance forums and representing the programme to several committees, stakeholders and third-party suppliers

Essential Skills and Experience:

• To succeed in this role, you will need a recognised PPM practitioner level qualification e.g. MSP, PRINCE2, or equivalent
• You will have managed previous programmes within financial services or the public sector
• Experience of working in an outsource environment (as client/ or supplier)
• Previous management of programme budgets more than £20M and individual project budgets in excess of £5M
