Investment Director - 6 month contract - Edinburgh

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Investment Director to work for a large Public Sector organisation in Edinburgh. You will will support the Executive Director - Investments and be responsible for identifying, structuring, and executing successful investment transactions, across both debt and equity direct investment.

Essential skills:

• Degree qualified, in Business Administration, Finance, or related fields is preferred. Professional qualification (CA, CFA or similar) will be highly regarded.
• Significant and relevant professional experience, ideally gained in Sustainable investment deals and/or SME investment experience.
• Knowledge of the specific market factors in Scotland is desirable.
• Experience in working within a development bank, or within the public sector would be highly regarded.
• Experience in identifying social impacts and ESG reporting would be highly regarded.
