Our client is looking for highly skilled Data Architect to join their team for a 6 months initial contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and provide solutions for the overall GDO data and data platform architecture, ensuring it aligns with our business goals, objectives and deliverables.
• Collaborate with business and data stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient data modelling models and architecture designs.
• Collaborate and work alongside our data governance team and business data stewards to ensure we have the relevant data governance policies, standards and procedures defined, to ensure data integrity and compliance as well as the enablement of our data assets.
• Collaborate, be responsible for and lead iterative development of Phoenix Group's logical and physical Enterprise Data Model assets as well as our solution-focused data models.
• Lead the development and implementation of additional assets to support the build out of our data models, including data dictionaries and data flow diagrams (in collaboration with wider teams).
• Evaluate existing data systems and models to propose improvements-including data storage, data integration and data quality.
• Work closely with data engineers, data scientists and analysts in the GDO to optimise data pipelines and ensure data availability and quality on the GDO Data Platform.
• Provide definition, management and governance of the implementation of, and adherence to, architectural procedures, standards, patterns, processes and tools.
