Test Automation Engineer (Python) - Edinburgh Hybrid - 12 Month FTC

Lorien's client, an established Scottish-born success story with a great history and sights on growth and ongoing upgrades to their already amazing product line, has asked us to help them in their searches for a Test Automation Engineer with Python expertise to join their team on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract basis for maternity cover.

Some of what you'll get up to:

• Working closely with the wider team to establish test/verification strategies for internal tooling and offerings and report on outcomes
• Developing and maintaining internal infrastructure and processes to enable effective testing, and designing/executing tests/test suites ensuring functional and non-functional requirements are met
• Continuously simplify/automate any and all aspects of test/verification where possible

What you'll bring to the table to achieve this:

• Expertise across relevant areas of software testing/verification
• Strong hands-on Python skills ideally with PyWinAuto
• Previous history of working in a Lean / Agile environment
• Ideally but not necessarily any dealings with C#.Net, Appium, WinApp driver, Squish, Virtualisation and/or CI/CD tooling like Docker/Jenkins/TeamCity
