Junior Network Engineer - Manchester City Centre - £40,000The Company: Lorien Global are working in partnership with one of Manchester's start up success stories. With an enormous platform transformation on-going and nearing completion, we're now planning for phase two of the development which will incorporate an international roll-out. With additional resources available to the network team, we have opportunity to introduce a Junior Network Engineer into a successful team. The Role: Working as a Junior within the team, you'll mostly be picking up general support queries that are escalated from the service desk, ensuring swift resolution, to then understand root cause to future-proof the network.This role will allow you excellent development opportunities, working closely with the Senior Engineer's you'll have insight into project work, which will include Network Security, Cloud Connectivity and Network Automation. The Skill Requirements: We're looking for candidates who understand some of the following:

• Proven knowledge of general network infrastructure
• Understanding of general LAN/WAN protocols and management
• Knowledge of Firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco, CheckPoint etc.)
• Familiar with Wi-Fi Systems (Meraki or similar)
• Great communicator and collaborator
