HR PARTNER - 10 MONTH FTC - HYBRID WORKING

2 days per week required on site in Edinburgh.

Job PurposeYou will lead on design and delivery of the senior leadership agenda, influencing and enabling culture change to improve staff experience. You will work closely with colleagues within the Talent and Development team and across HR to deliver these projects and services and measure the impact of these interventions.Main responsibilities

  • Design and develop our Executive Leadership Development proposition and solutions.
  • Lead on the re-design and procurement of the flagship management and leadership development interventions aligned with expected leadership behaviours.
  • Undertake research, scanning internal and external environments, to ensure the re-design of the interventions is based on innovative and evidenced-based practice and will meet needs of our leadership population.
  • Analyse and report on the impact and return on investment of interventions.
  • Seek opportunities to advance the leadership agenda through collaboration and building and developing new partnerships (internal and external).
  • Influence stakeholders through discussion and consultation to determine the most appropriate interventions and signpost, source or design as appropriate.
  • Use your own initiative to respond to changing priorities and outcomes for work, escalating issues to senior staff when required.

Knowledge Skills and Experience

  • Experience of designing and enabling successful executive and senior leadership projects, programmes and services.
  • Experience of procuring and working in partnership with leadership development suppliers
  • Experience of influencing team/department/organisational thinking.
  • Experience of gathering, interpreting and presenting data to measure impact.
  • Experience of working collaboratively with other individuals/teams/departments/organisations to achieve shared goals.
  • Strong communication skills with experience of formal report writing and creating guidance documents and presentation materials.
  • Knowledge of innovations and best practice in leadership development.

DimensionsThe post holder works closely with the Head of HR, Talent and Development and the wider HR team to initiate Talent & Development priorities and activities. There are no line management responsibilities. Once priorities are set, the post holder draws on a range of professional skills and expertise to measure the impact of these against the People Strategy.
