Business Analyst

Type - Permanent Location - London Hybrid- Yes Industry background preference - London Market Insurance / Financial ServicesWe are looking for a Business Analyst to help drive forward our ambitions and growth. You will be joining the Business Analysis Team and will be key to ensuring that our business requirements are understood, translated into outcomes, and met by our technology delivery. What you'll bring:

Knowledge and Experience

• A technical mind-set, with the ability to explain to different audiences how complicated systems and services fit together, as well as the ability to challenge and push back where appropriate
• Product experience and ideas on how to ship high-quality products quickly and efficiently
• Experience in requirements elicitation from various stakeholder groups through interviews or workshops
• A self-starter who can handle multiple workstreams and prioritise workloads
• An excellent knowledge of Agile delivery methods; an understanding of what makes good User Stories, and how to maintain a tidy product backlog as scope and requirements change, as well as the ability and willingness to coach others
• A 'release early and often' Agile mind-set
• Great communication and soft people skills to build trust with stakeholders and clients
• The ability to understand and document complex business processes in a manner that is easily understood

Desirable

• Candidates with prior experience of working within Insurance or Financial Services (London Market beneficial but not essential)
• Qualifications or experience of Agile delivery using Scrum
• Experience of working with the following technologies; low code platforms, rules engines, Salesforce
