Research Manager - Policy - Edinburgh
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Research Manager to join a large Public Sector organisation in Edinburgh. You will lead secondary research activities including reviews of existing published articles, databases and records to support the work across four portfolios
Essential skills:
1. Ability to carry out tasks independently with minimum oversight, balancing a range of competing priorities and deadlines to deliver both short- and long-term goals.
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate confidently with a wide range of audiences and stakeholders.
3. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyse and critically evaluate information from a variety of sources and draw out key messages to meet the needs of research users.
4. Substantial experience in planning and managing all stages of research including research design, delivery, write up and dissemination.
