My client, a leading provider and distributor of specialist property finance, have a very exciting opportunity for a Lead Data Engineer to join their team. The Lead Data Engineer will take technical ownership of the Data & Management Information function, working closely with the CTO and head of software to define and implement the short & the long-term strategies around Data & MI reports.

The ideal candidate must have:

• Strong Data Engineering experience
• Strong AWS, Amazon Redshift experience
• Experience developing ETL & ELT processes from multiple data sources & types.
• Extensive experience with SQL, ideally Amazon Redshift & MySQL.
• Excellent data modelling skills.
• Extensive experience with visualisation tools, which must include Amazon QuickSight.
• Strong communication skills (due to regularly facing off to the business)

This role is a hybrid role and requires every employee to be in the office 1 day per week.
