Lorien Global has partnered with a digital technology company specialising in Advanced Analytics and Audit for the professional services industry.

They are seeking Data analytics manager with experience within audit technology to support their technology teams to develop their audit tools and solutions.

This role would suit a strong data analytics consultant who is a recently qualified accountant within external audit.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Developing new audit approaches using novel technologies
• Designing audit documentation
• Supporting the company to define new data models
• Designing and managing technology compliance processes
• Suggesting improvements or changes to existing tools
• Capturing requirements from audit firm clients
• Helping to design and test audit tools and analytics

Key experience:

• Experience working as a Data Analytics Manager
• Experience with Advanced Analytics (Artificial Intelligence)
• Exposure to Data Visualisation tools (PowerBI)
• Experience of applying data analytics techniques in accounting, especially in audit
• Knowledge of audit procedures and tests, and how to perform compliant audit
• Accounting or Audit qualification (at least CFAB/equivalent but preferably ACA/ACCA, CPA or CPAA. IIA or CIA considered if 1 year of external audit experience can be demonstrated)
• Excellent communication skills
• Consultancy experience
