Lorien Global have partnered with a leading insurance company to help them find a Lead Data Architect to join their data team. They are looking for a talented and experienced data architect to fulfil this role and lead a new platform implementation from an architecture perspective.

The ideal candidate will be a passionate, self-sufficient data practitioner that communicates well at all levels and can create and own a cogent data strategy that supports the business now and into the future.

Key skills:

• Proven data architecture experience
• Experienced in Microsoft Azure
• SQL experience
• Experience using PowerBI
• XML experience
• MDM strategy and solution experience
• Experience with data lakehouse technology such as Databricks
• Experience in transformation programmes
• Experience working with Big Data and Big Data technologies
• Data modelling (logical and physical) experience
• Excellent communication skills

Experience working in the insurance industry is desirable.
