Lorien's leading banking client is currently looking to recruit a Service desk analyst to join it's ever growing team on an initial 3 month contract. Role Overview: As a Service Desk Analyst, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and colleagues seeking technical assistance. Your exceptional communication and problem-solving skills will shine as you provide timely resolution to a variety of IT-related issues. Your role will be essential in ensuring seamless operations across our banking systems. Responsibilities: Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat, and provide clear and concise technical guidance. Diagnose and troubleshoot software, hardware, and network issues, guiding clients through problem-solving steps. Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams while maintaining ownership of the incident. Document and track all support interactions in our ticketing system. Collaborate with other IT teams to identify trends and contribute to process improvement.

Qualifications: A strong customer-oriented approach with excellent communication skills. Proven experience in technical support or a related role. Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows and Mac operating systems. Familiarity with banking software and systems is a plus. IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, or equivalent, preferred. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. A degree in Computer Science or a related field is a plus.
