Lead Azure DevOps Engineer - Hybrid - Colchester - up to £85k

Interested in joining a leading financial services company as the first hire in DevOps as they look to bring this part of their technology function inhouse?

This is an opportunity for an experienced, Azure focused DevOps Lead to join the business and set the services up from scratch. You'd take responsibility for hiring into the team, with a view to have 2 people reporting into you within the first 6 months, and work closely with the other technical leads and engineering managers to deliver value add technology services to the business.

Ideally, you'd be well versed in Azure DevOPs, ARM, as well as Docker and Kubernetes, as well as all the other interesting tools that come with a hands on DevOps lead role.

Understandably, this role is being hired for on a permanent basis, as they very much want someone who will grow with the shape of the organisation, taking on further responsibilities as they progress within the business. There's significant opportunity to grow in this role with the support of the business and the opportunity to further your qualifications.
