"Cloud first" Software Engineer - Perm £55k + bonus for "Tech Unicorn"

A Rebate SAAS Management Company that is on its way to becoming a true tech unicorn is looking for a Cloud Developer / Cloud Native Software Engineer to join their digital transformation program. The focus on this will be to help the company move from a legacy .NET Application to a polyglot cloud ecosystem.

You will be building a new cloud-native environment in Azure and paving the way for new processes/procedures and culture.

Hybrid Model: X3 per week in Stratford Upon-Avon

Salary: £55k + bonus + equity scheme

Responsibilities:

• Contributing to technical design, implementation, testing, and deployment of new solutions
• Refactoring and containerising legacy code to be deployed onto a cloud environment
• Creating CI/CD pipelines to automate production deployments
• Collaborate with other developers through paired programming and code reviews
• Application security and health monitoring
• Working in alignment with Cloud-Native development

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience within software engineering (preferably) working with SaaS products with a cloud-first mentality
• Architectural design for microservices, data eco-systems, and event-driven architecture
• Experience with databases such as SQL, NoSQL (Postgres, MongoDB and Cassandra are acceptable)
• Strong experience migrating, transforming or building cloud-native applications across AWS or Azure or GCP
• Strong experience with tooling such as CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes and other DevOps practices
• Some exposure to frontend frameworks such as; Angular, React or TypeScript
• Desirable knowledge of .NET/C# (Any programming language/vertical is acceptable)
