Project Delivery Manager

We are seeking a Project Delivery Manager on an initial 6 month contract. The role will require strong project planning, coordination and a delivery focus, with the ability to take things forward mid-project/programme increment.

You will work with a range of stakeholders across the business, including at executive level, and will be able to build consensus and ensure progress while working in a busy and complex environment.

Skills & Experience:

• Experience in service development, service design and service transition.
• Experience with service change/ change projects.
• Successful end-to-end project delivery, from scoping to achieving outcomes
• Effective use of a range of delivery management methodologies, principles and techniques to plan, monitor and progress delivery to completion
• Delivering within complex programmes and projects in large organisations

Duties and responsibilities:

• Responsible for coordination and delivery of multiple and complex key strategic projects/features, in collaboration with subject matter experts, faculties and senior stakeholders
• Ensuring a focus on people throughout: delivering change while building trust and buy-in
• Confirming the objectives, scope, service and solution design and deliverables
• Implementing delivery approaches to suit organisational context,
• Communication and collaboration: working in a collaborative manor across the business and building new approaches to solve complex problems
• Risk mitigation: managing project/product risks, issues and dependencies, and co-ordinate resolution
• Negotiating and collaborating with other team members/implementation partners to ensure deadlines are met and quality is maintained
• Reporting: providing progress updates and reporting as required by the Programme Team
