The client

We are currently working with leader in the Retail sector, strong presence in both brick-and-mortar and online. Pioneering and leading the industry, utilising cutting edge technologies and evolving at an extreme pace, which has led to very strong profit numbers over consecutive years.

You

As the Solutions Architect, you'll be joining at a pivotal time - the business is going through a shift in their technology Ecommerce platform and moving towards MACH based architecture. This is the most significant technology project across the business.

Working very closely ad supported by the wider architecture team, you will be partnered with a fast moving and very talented Agile delivery team. You will be designing and reviewing the solutions for migrating a large Ecommerce platform to microservices, API first and cloud-native across the Azure domain.

Experience

• A proven background and experience in solution architecture using the Azure technology stack.
• Strong understanding of integration and API management (Azure APIM / Postman API)
• Understanding of frontend development, websites and mobile, JavaScript languages and libraries - JSON, YAML, XML.
• Strong experience with creation of design documentation, high level design, low level design, POC, blueprints, interface designs and data modelling
• Previously worked with methodologies such as TOGAF and Agile SAFe

Nice to have but not essential:

• A background in Ecommerce or Retail industry, understanding of pricing flows, purchasing, inventory, fulfilment.
