Franchise Contract & Commercial Lead Salary: Starting salary £56,000 Location: Manchester Work Pattern: Full Time hours- 2 days on site per week *Excellent Pension and benefits package* This is a great opportunity for a strong contract or commercial manager to progress into a position of influence and transformation. In addition, you will have the chance to work for a highly regarded public sector client with an aptitude for professional development and continuous growth. The day to day:
- You will lead commercial management throughout the contract lifecycle, acting as an integral counterpart between the client and suppliers ensuring compliance to contracts, management of any changes and adherence to KPIs
- Monitoring the delivery of contractual deliverables and obligations within third party contracts
- Ensure change documentation is maintained and accessible
- Commission Business intelligence reports to create insights in order to influence both internal and external stakeholders
- Offer cost effective commercial and operational changes and improvements
- Lead risk reviews with suppliers and provide feedback and insights to management
- Develop new approaches and ways of working to drive continuous improvements/ value for money across all contract agreements
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Previous practical experience in a similar role and environment
- Experience of managing large contracts (at least £1m pa)
- Ability to work under pressure
- Working knowledge of contracts and standard contracting terms
