Infrastructure Engineer - Security

Up to 80k (initial 12 month FTC)

Hybrid Working - 2 days a week at home

We are working with a major international law firm who specialise in Corporate & Private Equity, Investment Funds and Tax, who are looking to expand their technology division and need an Infrastructure and security Specialist.

You will be part of the Infrastructure and Info Sec team whose primary function is to assist in the ongoing operational support and engineering of the technology estate, the specific focus being on all Information Security elements that relate directly within the infrastructure technology components and functions across the enterprise.

Key Skills:

• Minimum of 10 years' IT experience including both IT Infrastructure and Information Security roles
• Relevant professional certifications that validate the fundamental skills required to perform the role, e.g. MCSE, Azure Security Engineer, CISSP, CompTIA Secure Infrastructure Specialist (CSIS), etc
• Strong skill level in scripting technologies, including MS PowerShell, Ansible and Bicep
• In-depth understanding of MS SCCM, VMWare, HyperV, Citrix technologies etc
• Ability to conduct research into Infrastructure issues and products as required.
• SME for server compute, Active Directory, storage, virtualisation and all other key infrastructure management technologies, methodologies, and standards. Relevant accompanying experience within the Information Security stack to ensure all Infrastructure elements meet/exceed the required standards consistently.
