Enterprise Application Architect - Contract

My client a FTSE100 company are currently looking for a Enterprise Application Architect experience on a 6 month initial contract. Please note this role will be paid via an umbrella company.

You will be responsible for the following:

• Manage application portfolio, make recommendations for future state portfolio considering the need to improve / replace / retire / decommission, and develop the roadmap for enterprise adoption.
• Leads on development of application architecture artifacts
• Define standards that relate to application governance, management, modelling, naming/describing, and delivering capabilities
• Clearly articulate, define and document the entire portfolio in the context of overall technology and business strategy across Cloud - SaaS, PaaS and IaaS, using ERP, COTS and Hybrid solutions, using EAI and data tools
• Keep track of the application landscape, including new innovations and innovative companies in our key and closely coupled industrial areas

The key skills & experience include:

• Technical knowledge in a range of Infrastructure, Applications, System integration and a desire to extend their technical capabilities
• IT architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and ArchiMate
• Previous experience as an IT architect in a large multi-national organisation
• Ability to develop & maintaining excellent working relationships with key stakeholders
• Working with a lot of other Architects and subject matter experts that requires continuous learning, having tactics and tenacity for when and when not to implement change.
