Hybrid working - 2 days on site

This is an excellent opportunity for a developer to progress into a more senior role and join a technically advanced government department.

You will be responsible for:

• Designing, delivering, running and improving the user centric digital solutions
• Contributing to their organisation portal and register
• Participating in full life cycle implementation from specification and design requirements analysis, architecture design to application design, development, testing and deployment
• Identifying the main issues in complex problems, clarifying understanding and stakeholder expectations, to seek the best option
• Support project planning and management, and find opportunities, challenges and risks

Knowledge and Skills needed:

• Honours degree in IT/Computing or equivalent experience
• Broad knowledge of Microsoft core technologies to build applications
• Good knowledge of Node JS, TypeScript/JavaScript, .NET Core and Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of Cloud operations and infrastructure
• Agile methodologies
