Senior Network Engineer

Senior Network Engineer - Manchester - £70,000 The Company Lorien Global are working in partnership with an ambitious cloud hosting business who are looking to diversify their product portfolio, by increasing their networking and security capabilities. My client have offices based in Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow, Maidenhead and London, you can be based across any of those sites with hybrid flexibility.

The Role You'll be responsible for the design, installation and maintenance of complex client networks, working closely with the Pre-Sales and Solutions Architects as part of the core Network Delivery Team. We're looking for an Engineer who truly understands the importance of Networking and how it integrates with wider infrastructure solutions.

The Skills

• You must have proven experience acting as a technical resourcing providing expert knowledge to successfully deliver projects and support to large and complex networks
• Experience working within a fast-paced MSP environment would be beneficial
• Have a strong understanding of general Network Infrastructure (WAN/ LAN/ DNS/ IP Routing/ etc.)
• Strong background Network Security in Firewall management (Palo Alto, Cisco, Checkpoint) and VPN configuration
• Knowledge Wi-Fi Solutions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
