C++ Software Engineer

• Duration of contract: 12 months with opportunity's to extend
• Location: Cheltenham
• Pay rate: £750 per day nside IR35
• Mid, Senior and Lead level available.
• Must be DV clear-able

Are you an ambitious C++ Software Engineer with a research and questioning mindset? Are you looking for an opportunity to work with our exceptional client in a secure environment, supporting challenging and highly rewarding projects. These contract roles will require you to go through a DV security clearance prior to assignment. This is the highest form of security clearance in the UK and is an excellent asset to have going forward in your career.

These Software Engineer roles are conducted in an environment that is far from ordinary, therefore, we're not looking for ordinary. You'll have the potential to work effectively across a diverse range of projects spanning multiple business units, such as communications, facilities, education, security and technical development.

Ideal knowledge and experience:

• Experience in commonly used languages such as C/C++, Python, Java, TypeScript but are willing to adapt to different languages as required.
• Experience using DevOps practices and tools.
• Open to being cloud native, with experience using AWS and Kubernetes, alongside some more bespoke, cutting-edge platforms.
• Research mindset - a questioning, scientific approach, a desire to learn new technologies and a thirst for knowledge.
