Azure Cloud Engineer (Azure, Terraform, Ansible, Powershell) £60,000 - £65,000 + BonusFully RemoteA global insurance company is seeking a highly motivated Azure Cloud Engineer with a strong focus on automation to join the business. The ideal candidate will have experience designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions in Azure, with a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, and security. In addition, they should have a proven track record of automating cloud operations using scripting languages, infrastructure-as-code tools, and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based solutions in Azure
• Automate cloud operations using scripting languages, infrastructure-as-code tools, and DevOps practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy, configure, and maintain cloud-based systems
• Optimize cloud infrastructure and workloads for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with cloud-based systems
• Continuously improve cloud infrastructure and operations through automation and innovation

Skills Required:

• At least 2 years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions in Azure
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, and security
• Experience with automation tools such as PowerShell, Azure CLI, Terraform, Ansible, or similar
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as Git, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
