Communications Manager

Internal Communications Business Partner - Contract

• 2 days per week on site (Milton Keynes/London)
• Inside IR35

This is a contract role as a Communications Business Partner to work in a financial services organisation, working on delivering key information across multiple business areas.

Responsibilities of this position:

• Assist the Senior Internal Comms BP in the design, development and implementation of an integrated communications strategy.
• Build your profile as a trusted adviser within the business, providing valuable guidance to senior management on all internal communications activity.
• Lead and shape the internal communications agenda in your area. Be proactive in setting the right culture and behaviours
• Research and write high quality articles, briefings, presentations, articles, blogs, Q&A's and other communication materials.
• Support the organisation and management of key internal communications events for senior management.

The key experience and knowledge required for this role includes:

• Stakeholder Management: previous experience of managing multiple senior stakeholders within a corporate function with business-wide impact
• Demonstrate knowledge of the workings of a corporate environment and the role internal communications plays in that, including linkages into the wider world.
• Digital Media - Demonstrable experience of using social media, video content and digital media to support and drive internal communications strategies to reach all key audiences.
• Event Management - Demonstrable experience of involvement in large scale end-to-end event management and coordination.
