Data Engineer

My client is looking to hire a Data Engineer, paying £60,000 ideally based in Manchester but open to London & Chelmsford.

Reporting to the Data Architect, the Data Engineer will work alongside colleagues from the data team to support the implementation of the new Data Strategy. You will be working within the Data Function, which is a multidisciplinary core team supported by data experts across the business.

This role will work on a wide range of BAU and transformation projects, mainly providing best practice data integration to map data flows and support their development of data warehouses and other data solutions in the near future. To be successful in this role, you will need to:* Have a proven Azure Data Engineering background.* Experience of building and deploying efficient and scalable SQL ETL/ELT pipelines in Azure

* Combine different data sources to satisfy a varied number of use-cases and across varied stakeholder perspectives of data. * Be happy taking responsibility for value-add delivery aligned to data strategy and working in a busy organization transforming itself.
