My client who are a specialised technology company are looking to recruit a Customer Digital Solutions Project Manager on an initial 3-6 month contract, to join their team based in Reading 1 - 2 days a week. Please note this role is paid via an umbrella company/PAYE. As a Customer Digital Solutions Project Manager you will work with Product Portfolio Directors and Programme Managers, Centres of Excellence (CoEs) and Global Business Units (GBUs) to support a programme of continuous development and improvement, to deliver high impact and transformational value. Working within a customer-first framework they plan, engage, co-ordinate and facilitate the resources required to successfully deliver a project from initiation to implementation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Request the appropriate project management framework from the Product Portfolio Director or Programme Manager
- Establish a clear RACI for all stakeholders and project contributors
- Document and gain approval of the project scope
- Define the project's schedule, allocate resources, highlight dependencies, timelines, milestones
- Implement the Product Portfolio Director or Programme Manager's system of project governance
- Communicate project requirements and key deliverables, including timescales and delivery milestones, to product vendors and delivery partners
- Working with the Product Portfolio Director or Programme Manager, manage product vendors and delivery partners until project completion
- Share success criteria and KPI's with all project contributors
- Manage the project team and encourage a sustainable pace of working for quality outputs
- Facilitate agile team effectiveness while holding all project contributors accountable for their commitments, removing roadblocks as they occur
- Lead project status and working meetings
- Working with the Product Portfolio Director or Programme Manager proactively manage the budget
- Work with the Product Portfolio Directors or Programme Manager and HR to recruit additional resources
- Identify risks and proactively plan mitigation, manage issues as they arise, escalating solution options to relevant stakeholders when necessary
- Communicate regular status reports to key stakeholders
- Collaborate with the business unit to create a transition plan to facilitate user adoption of the project on delivery
- Support post-implementation measurement of KPI's and pre-agreed success criteria
- Lead post-implementation review and capture and share key learnings
