My client, a Global Insurance Company is looking for a Scrum Master with Actuarial Experience, that works with Product Owner to establish a vision and roadmap to deliver the outcomes of the programme of work, facilitate the breaking down of initiatives and Epics in to regular cycles of delivery and improve the predictability of delivery.

Responsibilities

• Supports team in the facilitation of the sessions that take the team from goals to story creation and implementation
• Works with Product Owner to ensure the relevant stakeholders are aligned with the vision, delivery and progress of delivery
• Facilitates team level ceremonies using agile facilitation methods and techniques and scaled agile tools and techniques to establish Outcomes and OKRs that will shape and drive the delivery of the initiative.
• Supports the removal of blockers/impediments in the delivery of outcomes, including collaboration with teams outside of delivery teams, across technology and all areas of the business
• Ensures the change management components are part of the delivery in addition to the product and business change delivery
• Works as a team in ensuring risk and dependency management is used is integrated as a component of the ongoing and successful delivery of the backlog
• Uses retrospectives and other Lean-Agile techniques to implement small changes that lead to demonstratable improvement for the team
• Understands the importance of establishing trust and the need to remain neutral when facilitating
• Builds knowledge and understanding of the product being delivered and seeks opportunities to contribute towards the business goals and outcomes
• Develops skills to observe and provide consistent and impactful feedback.

Essential Skillset

• Experience as an Scrum Master
• Experience working on Actuarial Projects
• Data experience
• SQL Experience
