Finance Business Partner

Finance Business Partner 4 Month Contract - possible 2 month extension Remote

Our client is looking for a Finance Business Partner to join them on a contract basis. You will provide support to the commercial and marketing teams in delivering profitable business growth, aligned to strategy through timely and insightful analysis and reporting.

Accountabilities:

• Provide all month end marketing and supplier rebate income support, as well as mid-month and end of month forecasts
• Providing regular and ad-hoc tactical decision-making support for the Commercial team through well-structured reporting and analysis on UK commercial performance using TM1 and Power BI
• Management of Supplier Rebate Income through to P&L, including liaising with all responsible teams to ensuring timely invoicing
• Ownership of the Budgeting and Forecasting processes for Marketing Spend and Supplier Rebate Income
• Stay abreast of commercial strategies and trading initiatives to ensure that weekly trading reports are providing the insight required & build own understanding of commercial performance
• Deliver accurate, timely and focused insight on marketing performance communicating current trends, challenges, and opportunities
• Produce weekly and monthly waste reporting
• Provided Finance support on Marketing F4G initiatives, including clear reporting and validation
• Supporting the Senior Commercial Finance manager and Commercial Finance manager

Experience Required:

• Graduate-calibre qualified accountant (ACMA, ACCA, ACA)
• Excellent Excel skills, including reporting and modelling techniques
• Strong forecasting skills
• Good PowerPoint & Presentational skills
• An inquisitive and challenging nature
• Ability to manage multiple objectives to varying timelines
• Analyse and convey complex ideas, simply, to non-finance colleagues

Desirable:

• IT Systems literacy
• Broad experience in commercial finance teams, working in a fast paced / customer facing organisation
• Commercial finance business partnering experience in multi-site retail, F&B or hospitality businesses
• Strong financial control background
