- The salary for this position is £65,000 - £75,000 plus bonus
- Hybrid working - 2 days office based in Aldgate area, 3 days WFH
Our client is an insurance company looking for a C# Senior .NET developer working specifically and exclusively with legacy coding frameworks. This Development role is to join an expanding team which will involve working on established applications and platforms within the fast-paced world of Reinsurance Analytics.
This role will involve working on a range of core modelling platforms and being responsible for designing, developing, unit testing and ensuring effective new solutions and enhancements to existing solutions as well as implementing beneficial changes providing BAU support for existing and differentiating developments (building new applications).
Full Stack position: 60% back-end 40% front-end
Experience Required: - Prior experience working in similar developer role within financial services industry - Solid skills in database and application design and development - Strong development practice skills (configuration management & version control) - Exposure to full project life cycle (inception to user acceptance testing to initial live running)
Desired Skills:
- Insurance industry specific business knowledge (preferred)
- Project management tools like VSO / JIRA
- Good understanding of Software Configuration Management strategies and tools.
- Degree educated with Mathematics background
Core Tech Skills: .NET Framework 4.5 and 4.7 / .NET Standard /.NET Core 2.0 (C#6)
Angular (Modern JavaScript / SPA framework) SQL Server 2012, 2014 & 2016 Excel VBA too HTML5 / CSS3
jQuery / jQuery UI
T-SQL / SQL Server 2014
nUnit / xUnit / Microsoft Test Framework
GIT / VSTS
