Senior Account/Finance Manager

6 months initial contract - with view to extend

Max of £550 per day

Inside IR35 - Umbrella or PAYE will be required

Location - London Fenchurch Street

Working 2/3 days on site, with flexible work from home - closest station is Fenchurch Street station.

This project is for a leading brand in the insurance sector, looking for a Senior Account/ Finance Manager with required US GAAP reporting experience within the Accounting Operations team. This role enables you to focus on the Finance Target Operating Model project (FTOM).

You will be responsible for finance roles that come in, as well as focusing on strategy, planning and analysis reporting. You will lead the continual improvement of appropriate processes and controls, as well as providing on the job training to junior staff.

Ideally, you must have the following tech skills/experience, which would be highly beneficial:

• Certified Accountant (required) (All certifications accepted apart from AAT)
• US GAAP reporting experience (required)
• Experience of managing a London Market insurance company or Syndicate finance team (required)
• Experience of SAP and Finance BI (preferred)
• Reviewing and authorizing management reports, reconciliations and controls
• Implementing new processes and controls
• Close liaison with actuarial and tax teams
