Office based 5 working days in the office

Our client is a London-based think-tank who are on a mission to create a global movement of people committed to creating pathways from poverty to prosperity. With a strong focus on their creation and utilisation of their Global U.S. and UK Indexes. They provide metrics and in-depth research to identify barriers to strengthen prosperity in the UK, the US and across the World.

As a Data Analyst you will joining the US Programme Team (based in London) as a key member.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Developing data assets within the U.S. Index, using insights to formulate policy options surrounding poverty and other relevant socio-economic subjects
  • Producing research within the Index e.g., the Education / Health sector to a high standard
  • Drawing out key findings to support driving change through policy journals and other relevant publications
  • Conducting analytical new insights into the trends and patterns of prosperity
  • Presenting a conclusion for your data to a non-technical audience to maximise collaboration for maximum value from your data assets.

Essentials skills and experience:

  • High level of Python and SQL experience
  • Graduate degree of a 2:1 or above within Economics, Computer Science, Psychology, Mathematics or similar.
  • Attention to detail with exceptional awareness for the need of accuracy and quality
  • Communication skills with the ability to present problems and conclusions
  • Must have a background or interest in socio-economic subjects with the desire to be part of a movement

Desirable skills and experience:

  • Experience with STATA, SPSS or other statistical tools
