Senior Investment Analyst - Outside IR35

Our client is looking for highly skilled Senior Investment Analyst to join their team for a 6 months initial contract.

Role Purpose - Responsible for asset portfolio management of Open Policyholder Assets; covering all aspects of investment, operations, stakeholder management, stewardship and development.

Key Responisbilities

• Lead on investment strategy, performance, portfolio construction and manager change as it relates to Unit Linked Funds.
• Senior stakeholder management to include representation at governance forums, committees and independent oversight bodies as required.
• Key Asset Management interface for Open Policyholder Assets and Proposition, Finance, Compliance, Risk and Actuarial.
• Work with and support Head of Open Policyholder Assets in delivering optimal policyholder outcomes across the Unit Linked book.
• Assess, design and implement consolidation and harmonisation strategies across Open Policyholder Assets.
• Key interface with external asset management partners for Open Unit Linked Funds.
• Work with Asset Management colleagues in front and middle office on Strategic Asset Allocation (SAA), integration of Sustainability and ESG goals and new return drivers such as Alternative Assets.

Responsible for BAU and adhoc issues effecting Open Unit Linked business.

Skills

• IMC<CFA/SIE (desirable)
• Understanding of all aspects of Workplace Pensions, savings retirement products, investment management, investment operations, regulatory environment, evolution, policyholder outcomes and product types.
• Full understanding of Unit Linked Fund investment management operating models and structures.
• Experience of asset management for Unit Linked Fund
• Understanding of Unit Linked Governance and Regulatory environment
• Understanding of asset classes across equities, fixed income and alternatives (illiquids) and their application in Unit Linked Funds and products.
• Experience of interacting with senior stakeholders across multiple disciplines i.e. Actuarial, Finance, Operations and Risk.
• In-depth knowledge of investment markets, investment strategy and fund management methodologies as they apply to Unit Linked.
• Broad understanding of legal, tax and regulatory environment.
• Acts on own initiative, able to make logical decisions and formulate judgements.
• Able to develop and maintain communication and relationships at all levels of the Group across different business channels.
