£60,000 + Benefits

A global e-commerce client of ours, are looking for an experienced Technical Team Lead to join their well-established technical team. This role plays a key part in the performance of the client's Development function.

The role

Leading, guiding and being responsible for the project team through the delivery of multiple projects

Being on the forefront with a design solution that works well

Monitoring and working closely with established team to ensure technical work is up to par

A strong support pillar and coach for software engineers in the team, helping them to improve as developers.

Ability to understand client requirements, then working with them to design a solution

Being solution oriented when tackling any potential barriers

Attending briefings and debriefings when necessary

Skills

Heaps of technical understanding, including PHP 7 & 8

Need experience with PHP frameworks, Git/version control and CI

Familiarity with object-oriented design, design patterns and best practices

Knowledge of secure design and standards

Automated testing and TDD, test driven development

Monitoring and enhancing environment further

Spear-heading the technology function

Previous management experience is essential to be successful for this role
