Our client is a well-known and successful organisation within the sports betting and gaming industry. Based in Manchester, this organisation is investing heavily in people, process, and technology to further enhance their customer offering.

The Role

Exceptional knowledge of development practices in a DevOps culture

Hands-on experience of design, operation and management of infrastructure within an on-premises and cloud hybrid environment is essential.

Expert in Terraform or Ansible

Experience with Kubernetes including implementing a microservice architecture, migrating applications and any experience of an on-premise implementation would be a significant bonus

Experience with AWS (EC2, ELB, VPC, EKS)

Experience with VMWare vSphere/NSX-T a bonus

CI/CD tools and processes

Strong knowledge of Linux & Windows Server

Skills

5 + years' commercial experience with AWS DevOps, Git

DevOps background/experience, including EC2

Strong knowledge and experience with Terraform

Hands on experience with CI/CD pipelines

Hands-on experience with Docker containerisation

Experience with TeamCity and Octopus is desirable

Able to quickly learn new technologies

Linux administration experience

Having used any programming language, python, or bash for example

Education

A 2:1 in Computer Science or related degree.
