User Researcher

User Researcher Contract role £550- £600 per day Inside IR35 6 Months April start Closing date for applications: Mon 6th March Location: Manchester/ Sheffield or Blackpool (Hybrid working) User Researchers will be key to a multi-disciplined Accessibility Technologies team delivering accessibility technologies. You will be working as part of an internal multidisciplinary Accessibility Technologies product team and will have access to team members, leadership and our users.Main duties of the role:

• You are required to plan and lead user research activities, prioritising decisions and work based on user needs
• Working as part of an internal multidisciplinary Accessibility product team you will help to deliver accessibility technologies improving user experience
• Accountable for the end-to-end delivery of research, developing and delivering research that considers the time & budget vs outcomes perspective
• You will bring to team your recommendations and insights that focuses on user behaviours and experiences based on evidence gathered using a range of research methods

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Experience of doing research for internal applications for large private organisations or Government departments
• Experience of user-centered analysis and design
• Experience of using a range of research methods to generate insights
• Experience of using qualitative and quantitative methods based on requirements
• Experience of working in agile software development teams, helping to prioritise features utilising research and problem definition
• Experience of doing research for internal applications for large private organisations or Government departments
