Junior IT Field Engineer - Manchester Area - £23,000 + Van, Fuel Card & Paid Overtime

Here are Lorien we're working in partnership with a UK based software development company who create bespoke applications for the education sector. Due to growth in the business they're looking for a Field Engineer who they can train up to provide technical support to their clients. We are looking for two engineers across the North of England, this one is based in the Manchester region.

Your role will be field based, working on the project installations and delivery aspects of the POS and Hardware. You'll be mainly involved with projects in this role but from time-to-time will be required on the BAU, break-fix work.

In this role there is an excellent opportunity to join a business that'll offer you training and progression routes into a Lead Engineer involved with full installations and upgrades.

We're looking for candidate who has a blend of the following skills:

• Motivation and desire to work in a field based position
• You must have a driving licence
• Some knowledge of payment devices is advantageous (EPOS/POS/ etc.)
• An interest in technology and computer software is helpful as you'll get training in this (Education based or genuine personal interest)
• Excellent communication skills
