Senior Business Analyst - Hybrid - Outside IR35

Our client, a global Insurance firm, are currently looking to hire a Senior Business Analyst to join the company on an Outside IR35 contract basis. This role would be hybrid working with the client site based in London.

In this role as a Senior Business Analyst you will work as a link between business, data, technology and solution providers to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of services, products, and processes through the roll out of a global broking platform, a key group initiative for the broking business. The role will be leading and coordinating a high performing team of business analysts.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate a local BA team ensuring a high performance team that delivers
• Development of best practice and standards
• Lead workshops, interviews and prototyping sessions to elicit business requirements
• Perform analysis for the UK project specifically around London Market processing requirements
• Work closely with technology providers on solutions to meet business requirements and make recommendations
• Lead the prioritisation of requirements in alignment with the clients and product owners

Requirements

• Experience of working as a Business Analyst Lead within an insurance broker, company or consultancy environment
• Knowledge of London Market processing and Specialty business (preferred)
• Has worked on a large business transformation programme such as an insurance or broking platform implementation
• Has worked through the whole life-cycle of a project from initiation through to User acceptance testing and launch
• Proficient in detailing and producing key analysis artefacts such as user stories, acceptance criteria, wireframes and process flows
• Can demonstrate superb communication skills including strong presentation skills and working with project teams in global markets
• Delivery focused with a proactive approach to analysis and can work with minimal supervision
• Be able to work as part of a busy team to deliver high quality business analysis within an agile environment and meet deadlines
• Experience of salesforce would be an advantage
