We are looking for an Test Automation Engineer to join our team. As the Test Automation Engineer you will be responsible for testing Web, Mobile and Wearables Applications in addition to our E-Commerce platform, test engineers are closely embedded with 3rd party and internal Agile software development teams, collaborating to identify testing requirements for new feature and regression testing as part of manual and automated UAT process. In the role, you should expect to be doing the following:

  • Define and implement End-to-End Test Automation to support cross-platform UAT activities (Web, Mobile, Wearables, E-Commerce)
  • Manage and maintain existing automation suites using Cypress with Javascript
  • Be a point of contact for test automation, including assisting colleagues in the execution, maintenance and debugging of existing test suites
  • Mentor colleagues on creation of new automation test suites
  • Provide exploratory manual testing where needed
  • Participate in retrospectives and sprint planning
  • Maintain and improve current skillset by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment

The test function in Consumer is a growing team, building on the success of manual testing is now investing into automated testing of our Mobile and Web applications. We are looking for an experienced test automation engineer to engage with development teams to expand existing unit and integration testing to add value in the UAT phase of testing. You will have the skills to lead automation development and to mentor team members on their automation journey.

  • Quick learner who is keen to develop understanding of new technologies.
  • Extensive experience in QA or UAT test automation
  • Advanced knowledge of Cypress, Selenium, Python, JavaScript, or similar industry-standard languages/libraries
  • Experience working in an Agile methodology; raising and tracking defects in JIRA or similar tool
  • Experience using source control systems, for example Github
  • ISTQB Foundation
