PHP Development Manager up to £100k - Ecommerce

Website Development Manager / Principal PHP Software Engineer E-commerce

As the Website Development Manager you will be responsible for running a large-scale ecommerce website built in Magento 2 and all ecommerce inhouse development.

Working closely with the CEO, MD and SEO Manager, your primary focus is to remove the development dependency of an external agency and be hands-on with all projects.

This is hybrid working permanent role, paying up to £100,000 with x3 per week in an amazing office at the Braintree HQ.

Key responsibilities:

Working closely with design team to produce clean, efficient code on specifications or user stories

Assist in defining technical and architectural design requirements

Advising non-technical teams to understand objectives and translate them into deliverable requirements

Optimise the performance and speed of Magneto e-commerce website

Skills and Experience:

6+ years' experience as a PHP expert

2-3 years' experience in Magento 2 (Must be recent development in Magneto 2)

Full-stack experience using JavaScript and CSS

Experience with CMS Systems - focusing on creating a good user experience

Well versed in Database manipulation and data migrations

Experience with e-commerce/retail volumes - ideally Medium to large volume websites

Experience in project leading and successfully delivering website features/components
