Learning Technology Manager - Permanent

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Learning Technology Manager to work for a large Public Sector organisation in Edinburgh. You will provide leadership in the area of learning design, ensuring that teachers are well supported to embed learning technologies and digital teaching practices effectively in the curriculum. As the manager of a learning technology team you will have the opportunity to mentor colleagues and provide leadership in the frameworks and approaches used

Essential skills:

• Effective and empathetic leadership, management and team coaching skills.
• Service management and customer relations experience, with demonstrable user focus.
• Excellent communication, digital and inter-personal skills with the ability to influence colleagues at a range of levels.
• An expert knowledge of learning and teaching context within the HE sector and the ability to advise a diverse user base on how to make best use of a range of IT services.
• Awareness and understanding of current trends in curriculum and learning design practice and learning technology developments.
• Relevant experience working in a similar or related role.
