Business Control Manager (Permanent role)

Our client is looking for a highly skilled Business Control Manager to join their Edinburgh based team on a permanent basis.

The Business Control Manager will work closely with the Asset Management (AM) business, providing advice on controls and governance to the first line risk owners.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensuring that the AM risk universe is complete and controls are designed and mapped appropriately in systems.
• Work with the AM teams, Group Internal Audit and Line 2 to oversee the closure of audit and other issues that require mitigating actions
• Ensuring that an appropriate AM assurance programme is designed and delivered to test AM controls on a risk based rolling basis.
• Support strategic change programmes and projects and help deliver a market leading asset management function within the UK's largest long-term savings and retirement business
