Junior HR Business Partner - Hybrid (various Scottish locations)

Our client is looking to appoint a Junior HR Business Partner on a Fixed Term contract to November 2023 to cover a period of Maternity Leave.

The successful candidate will report to the HR Business Partner and their focus will be providing advice across the organisation in relation to operational HR, supporting the HRBP. The role requires proactive organisational skills, and excellent influencing skills alongside self-management and initiative. Your work will be fast paced and changing daily but some of the main things you will be involved with are supporting the HRBP's across all departments in the organisation in an advisory role, guiding line managers with any ER cases, recruitment, and helping both employees and managers understand and implement policies and procedures. Essentially the role holder supports all aspects of the employee life cycle in line with current legislation and organisational procedures, under direction from the HRBP.

Essential Skills / Background / Experience

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent professional experience.
  • Generalist Human Resources experience gained within a busy & complex environment.
  • Experience of using HR systems including management reporting to support the delivery of HR Business Partner service
  • Able to work under their own initiative exercising professional judgement.
  • Good interpersonal & prioritisation skills.
  • Good relationship management skills.
  • Enthusiastic and customer focused attitude.
  • Team orientation contributing to the efficient functioning of the HR team and project groups.
  • Excellent knowledge and application of Microsoft Office package tools (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).

This role can be based from any of our clients office location across Scotland. They also operate a hybrid working culture, partially office and partially home based.
