3 month initial contract with potential to extend

Up to £500 per day (Inside IR35/ Umbrella)

London Based - Hybrid 2/3 days on-site

Our Government client, working heavily in the legal sector, are looking for an adaptable Engineer with a mix of skills across DBA and Windows Systems Admin.

The Role:

This is essentially a hybrid role, being split 50/50 between DBA duties and Windows Systems Administration. The environment is Windows and Azure based, with a small collection of SQL Databases and a single Oracle Database, meaning there will not be enough DBA duties to make this a full time DBA role.

Therefore our client is in need of an adaptable Engineer with a mix of Windows based Infrastructure Engineering experience as well as some DBA experience to be able to support, maintain and build SQL/Oracle databases as and when needed.

You can be stronger in either Windows or SQL DBA, but you will need to perform both duties as and when needed.

Skills:

• Experience with Windows Server Administration and related tech
• Experience working with SQL Server Administration.
• Experience working with Oracle Databases Administration.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, IaaS, SaaS and PaaS.
• Working knowledge of Office365
• Intune or EndPoint management would also be ideal
