Infrastructure Engineer - Manchester - £55,000

The Company: My client are leaders in the provision of high-quality IT managed services across hybrid cloud, network connectivity, cyber security and digital workplace solutions. Backed with investment, they're looking to continue their product and client development into the next phase of their growth. This starts by adding a skilled senior engineer into their delivery teams.

The Role: Your core responsibility as a senior is to provide an expert level of knowledge and support across solution design, project delivery and technical support as aligned with customer requirements and product development. Here you'll have exposure to cutting-edge technology, in an environment with like-minded engineers who share a keen interest in technology.

The Requirements:

• Proficient in VMWare (ESXi/ NSX) deployment and administration at scale
• Familiar with some hyperconverged infrastructure (vSphere/ vSAN)
• Understanding of common pitfalls and challenges faced with growing virtual platforms
• Strong experience managing further products from Microsoft Server Technologies (Exchange, Office 365, Active Directory)
• Proven experience delivering complex technical projects
• Experience guiding and mentoring junior team members
