Lead .Net Developer

This is an excellent opportunity to lead a team working on business critical, high-volume data processing systems.
Working on a hybrid remote basis (WFH 3 days a week) from their offices in Manchester City Centre, this role is paying £65k - £75k per year + 10% annual bonusTHE ROLE: You will be working closely with the Technical Architect on the expansion and modification of the company's high-volume data processing platform. This will involve participating in both the design and architecture, as well as ensuring that any changes made do not disrupt other areas of the platform.
In addition, you will also be:
- Providing technical leadership to a team of in-house and offshore developers.
- Working with the Technical Architect to develop POC's
- Undertake platform performance optimisation
- Building Web Services and WebAPI's
- Mentor and guide more junior developers, helping them understand and overcome complex challenges

REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience in a Leadership/ Tech Lead / Lead Developer role.
- High level understanding of C# OOP programming
- Knowledge of software / application design architecture
- Knowledge of design patterns
- Experience of building Web Services
- Database experience
- Expertise in performance optimisation
- Experience taking ownership of a system or sub-system is an advantage
- Experience of Unit and functional testing is important, not necessarily strict TDD.
BENEFICIAL:
- Any history working with WinForms/WPF, WebAPI, Blazor and WCF
- Experience with N-Tier architecture/Service orientated architecture
