Fixed Term Contract - Maternity Cover Location - London Insurance Background RequiredWe are looking for a Marketing Manager to join the team within a large insurance company. This will be a 12 month FTC where you will provide the full range of marketing and communications plans and activities across the clients Europe and MENA on a business to business line. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop marketing plans with specific objectives for the clients Central region
  • Analyse effectiveness of marketing initiatives and optimise accordingly
  • Analyse broker insights, trends, market analysis and marketing best practices to build successful strategies
  • Present and communicate marketing ideas, programs and strategies to regional
  • Create or support the creation of on-brand marketing
  • Develop content and manage updates across external channels for Central
  • Develop and manage the webinar programme using digital platforms e.g. ON24
  • Develop and manage campaigns using email marketing and CRM software for Central e.g. DotDigital, Salesforce
  • Measure and report performance of Central digital marketing campaigns
  • Lead or support specified industry events such as conferences or hospitality, both in the UK and overseas
  • Supervise Marketing Intern and Marketing Assistants (as and when allocated) to provide training and support on specific tasks and in Marketing Manager absence
  • Responsible for budgets for individual projects and events
Skills and Experience:
  • Experience in a marketing department or agency, ideally within the Insurance or financial services sector.
  • A CIM qualification or equivalent
  • Understanding of the various marketing and communication components. Proven experience developing marketing plans and campaigns
  • Self-management, planning and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Influencing and negotiation skills and strong teamwork are essential
  • An ability to build mutually beneficial business relationships with outside agencies and at external networking events
  • Commercial and business awareness
  • Ability to travel on an ad hoc / infrequent basis. Knowledge of a European language would be advantageous but not essential.
