Desktop Support Analyst

Here at Lorien we are partnering with a rapidly expanding Software house based in Manchester City Centre. With the plans for their growth to continue well underway this year, they're now looking to expand the IT support team and add a Desk Support Analyst.

Your role as part of the IT Service Delivery team will be to develop, implement and sustain the support of the Samanage ITSM Platform. You will be required to provide solutions to business problems via customer requirements based on system capability and process gaps.

You will be reporting to the IT Support operations manager and the day to day responsibilities you will undertake are; maintaining and analysing growing data held in Samanage and supporting applications, ensuring related business processes are adhered to, as well as the implementation of any functionality changes as required.

Skills required:

  • Highly customer focused individual
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic knowledge and experience working with an ITIL driven frame work
  • Experience working with project teams on remote business users
  • Experience of workflow management and building workflows
  • Proficient in MS Office and Windows server
  • Experience in process mapping and development

Salary and benefits:

  • Salary: £27,000 per annum depending on experience
