My client are a global bank and they are looking for a Network Security Project Manager to join their busy team on a 10 month initial contract. The candidate must be a strong Project Manager coming from a technical background in either infrastructure or cyber security.

The Project Manager will have knowledge and experience in delivering cyber security and technical infrastructure projects encompassing identity and access management, network security, securing end user devices & end points and possess cyber security operating centre technologies and process knowledge. They will have several in-depth specialisms within the project delivery discipline including stakeholder engagement, business case development, infrastructure project management, risk & issue management, service transition, business change, product selection & procurement, supplier management & governance.

Key Skills

  • A professional project and/or programme management accreditation (e.g., Prince 2, PMP, MSP) and comfortable delivering using best practice project management disciplines.
  • Significant experience of delivering cybersecurity technology projects with a proven delivery track record - having achieved tangible results, created value, and delivered business outcomes.
  • Strong risk assessment, problem resolution, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Strong business acumen, commercial mindset, and financial literacy.
  • Competent in the delivery of cyber, security related and technology infrastructure projects. This can be ranging from network security, identity and access management to securing end user devices & end points.
  • Experienced with cyber security operating centre technologies and processes.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills with both non-technical as well as technical audiences managing successful communications with stakeholders.
  • Proactive approach. Ability to influence others. Excellent relationship management skills
  • Ability to establish and agree direction when there is lack of clarity from stakeholders.
  • High level of competence in effective individual and team use of a range of project management and digital collaboration tools such as Microsoft Project, the MS Office 365 suite, Jira, Kanban boards etc.

Spanish speaking is highly desirable
