PHP Developer - Fully Remote - Learning Management Systems This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced PHP Developer to learn Moodle and Totara, the leading open-source learning management systems (LMS) available. Paying £40k -£50k + bonus and benefits, this is a fully remote role that can be filled from anywhere within the UKThe Company For just over 17 years, this software development company has been delivering custom learning management systems globally, for the likes of Samsung, Kuehne & Nagel, Amazon, the NHS, Halfords and Scottish Water. • Working with an established team of developers, you will be turning client requirements & feature requests into reality
• Improving and expanding the functionality of the systems.
• Provide advice into how the application should function & suggest improvements where possible

Requirements:

• In-depth knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, HTML
• Knowledge of database systems MySQL, MariaDB or PostgreSQL
• Knowledge of PHP Unit & behat testing
• Knowledge of version control systems.
• Knowledge of LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP)
• Willingness to learn & become an expert in Virtual Learning Environments (MoodleLMS, Totara, Moodle Workplace)

Beneficial:

• Any prior expertise in Virtual Learning Environments
• Experience of Linux Shell scripting
• Experience of Git Version Control
• Experience of RESTful web services or GraphQL
