VAT Academy - Indirect Tax

Base Locations: London, South, North, Midlands, Scotland

Our client's Indirect Tax team has an exciting opportunity for individuals with previous work experience who are looking for a new career path-no prior tax experience required!

If you enjoy problem-solving, working with people, understanding how businesses operate, and building strong client relationships, this VAT Academy could be the perfect fit for you.

We are seeking motivated individuals across the UK who want a real challenge and are curious about the world around them.

Assessment Day:
Held in person on 1st December 2025 in Canary Wharf, London.

Successful candidates will join a 10-week technical training programme starting 2nd March 2026, combining remote learning and in-person sessions at the Reading office. You'll also receive full support and ongoing on-the-job training.

What We're Looking For

  • At least 2 years of UK career experience in a relevant background with transferable skills
  • Permanent right to work in the UK
  • Availability to start training on 2nd March 2026

Relevant experience could include sales, research, client management, communication, analysis, law, teaching, armed forces, finance, or similar areas.

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Delivering high-quality Indirect Tax advisory services to corporate clients
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Developing innovative solutions and identifying opportunities
  • Supporting business development initiatives
  • Providing sales support and maintaining key B2B and B2C relationships
  • Over time, mentoring junior team members

You'll work closely with senior managers, directors, and partners who will help you realise your full potential.
